Current teaching commitments in the MSc course Computational Science and Engineering. Teach two courses on this course:
This course details the theory behind the finite element method for predicting stress and electromagnetic phenomena. This is complimented with practical experience using commercial software to illustrate both best-practice and how to avoid common errors. Examples on how such analysis is undertaken in the industrial environment is also given
Modelling for the Electronics and Telecoms Industry
Over the last twenty years electronic products and telecommunications equipment have greatly impacted society. This applied course provides students with experience of using computational modelling tools to help design reliable electronic/photonic products.
