TALESSI CONFERENCE REPORT

The conference took place on 2 and 3 April 1998 at the University of Greenwich (Island site, Woolwich campus). The conference was attended by 40 people over the two days, including the Project Team. A conference pack was produced which included abstracts of the 14 papers presented.(See below)

The aims of the conference were:

The conference ran smoothly. An interesting and thought-provoking mix of papers was presented in the plenary and parallel sessions, including theoretical/abstract papers and case studies of good practice. Two papers were given by the project team (see below). Lively panel discussions formed an integral part of the conference, and informal feedback from delegates was very positive.
