The
University of Greenwich at Medway is home to the Schools of Chemical
and Life Sciences, Surveying, Earth and Environmental Sciences
and Engineering, along with the internationally-renowned
Natural Resources Institute.
The Chatham Maritime area is being developed into a major shopping
and recreation centre, with a marina, restaurants, pubs and other
leisure facilities. Central London is approximately 40 minutes
away and there is plenty of car parking available on site. |

Rooms
are available for hire during vacation periods and at weekends
in two of the buildings, which have been renovated to a high
standard.
Pembroke houses the Ward Room, which has a capacity of 250,
and is supported by six other rooms holding between 30 and 70
persons each. Most of these rooms have disabled access.
Dining is on the ground floor of the building.
Jellicoe has been converted into a teaching block with 2 x 100-seater
raked lecture theatres and eight classrooms holding 20-80 persons
each. One lecture theatre and four classrooms are accessible
to the disabled. All rooms are supported by extensive audio visual
equipment.
The ground floor of Jellicoe houses a public bar available to
guests if pre-booked during the vacation. There is also a function
room with its own bar.

| Accommodation |
There
are 200 ensuite single study bedrooms onsite, built to a high
standard, and arranged in self-catering cluster flats of five
and six bedrooms. The accommodation is in two houses with a central
car park. The area is monitored by CCTV with 24-hour security.
There is a coin-operated launderette onsite.

The
dining room on the ground floor of Pembroke can provide a flexible
catering service.Main meals are available through the counter
for up to 200 people, but private dining is available in the
annexe or a buffet service can be provided on the first floor
of Pembroke.

Medway
has a tennis court and croquet lawn onsite.
