This module addressed all aspects of this very important subject. The time spent with the infection control nurse was invaluable in showing the theory of infection control in practice. The subject of decontamination was clearly and logically presented; the use of pictures in the quiz showed items of equipment which are in common use highlighting the essential and practical difference between sterilisation and disinfection.
