The MSc in Biomedical Science (Online) consists of four online 30 credit modules plus a workplace project (60 credits). The MSc can be completed over a period of up to 6 years.
The MSc in Biomedical Science (Online) has been validated by the University of Greenwich and is accredited by the IBMS.
The online modules on offer are:
Registration for the Masters programme
Students can take one or more of the Biomed Online Learning modules and decide later whether they wish to proceed to take the full MSc, or they can register for the full Masters programme at the outset. Management of workplace based project
The title and content of the project is submitted for approval using the MSc Project Form. Each student will have two supervisors for their project– one from the University of Greenwich and one from their workplace.
Once the documentation has been completed by the student and their supervisors, it is considered for approval by the Biomed Quality Committee. This committee is made up of training managers from three NHS Trusts and the Director of Learning and Quality from the University of Greenwich School of Science.
